The ability to use low bandwidth is the smart part about any network camera. Lowering the bandwidth impact preserves network resources leaving more room for other data. Preserving resources is achieved by only sending what matters.
Cloud cameras are set to record on motion detection by default. This approach has two major advantages. With all events triggered by motion detection, meaningful footage gets delivered to the Cloud. Looking at meaningful footage saves time giving the viewer a quick synopsis of the latest events.
Up to four alarm windows are used to detect motion zones. Each motion zone is configured by setting size, threshold, and sensitivity. This configuration and flexibility makes NetCamPro a true low bandwidth cloud camera.
Live viewing or reviewing video clips from a NetCamPro camera using the Secondary Stream uses about 1MB/min. The Primary Stream uses about 20MB/min.
