Description
Same smart style as its predecessor on the outside, the new NCP2255si has received extensive hardware upgrades improving image quality and video processing. These hardware upgrades come in the form of a new image sensor, and an added hardware video encoder.
The new image sensor, a 2MP Sony(R) Exmor, offers a larger dynamic range making dark areas more visible and producing an even clearer picture quality at day and at night. Paired with improved optics comes a dedicated H.264 Video Codec Engine. This additional micro controller assists the main CPU with encoding video streams.
The result is a significant speed up in video encoding and compression making the NCP2255si an even faster camera.
